Yesterday I sat around the house moping, all day. I was on a right downer after coming back from a fantastic week in Devon. I was in a really "can't be arsed" mood. I even managed to talk myself out of going fishing! I just didn't know where to put myself. So I made a cup of tea and sat down with the dog and watched "A Passion For Angling..". It inspired me to set myself the challenge of trying to catch a specimen for every coarse fish species. I was going to put a time scale on it but I don't fish often enough to make that possible, unfortunately. I'm going for an easy one to start with and I'm aiming for a specimen chub tomorrow afternoon. Armed with lobworms, hemp, and luncheon meat I will be hitting the banks with full force! Wish me luck.

Just a random pic.

Not a bad day fishing the river Don for brown trout and grayling.
